Dell has announced that through collaboration with SAP AG it plans to help make business intelligence (BI) more accessible and easier to deploy. Dell intends to provide customers with standards-based BI solutions on certain power-efficient servers that will increase enterprise efficiency and give business users immediate access to business-critical information.
Dell plans to support SAP BusinessObjects Explorer on its new PowerEdge M-series blade architecture to give customers instant access to business information. Dell’s intended support of SAP BusinessObjects Explorer software will enhance the decision making process of enterprise customers.
Donna Troy, vice president of Large Enterprise, Americas, at Dell, said, “Dell’s intention to certify its new PowerEdge Blade Servers for SAP’s BusinessObjects Explorer expands our Business Intelligence portfolio and is an important milestone for our joint customers.
