Compuware Strengthens Indian Operations

Compuware Corporation announced the expansion of its management team in India with appointment of Hariharan Ganesan as managing director for India and SAARC.

Before joining Compuware, Hariharan worked with companies like Microland, TVS Electronics, Peoplesoft and Oracle. In a career spanning almost two decades, he handled regional and national level roles, including direct sales, channel sales and strategic alliances.

“We are glad to welcome Hari to Compuware. Hari’s experience brings fresh perspective on the market opportunities and added strategic focus to Compuware’s sales and marketing campaigns in the region,” said Jamie McGuffie, senior vice president, Partner Business Development, Compuware.

Compuware also announced a partnership agreement with HCL Technologies to focus on India’s fast growing IT governance opportunities, combining Compuware’s IT Portfolio Management, Application Development Management and IT Service Management solutions capabilities with the advisory and implementation services capabilities of HCL’s IT Transformation practice.

“The partnership will enable us addressing our aggressive growth plans in India and globally by building unique solutions around Compuware’s Changepoint solution that help organisations improve their return on investment in IT,” said Bob Donald – VP Partner Business Development.

In the recent past, Compuware’s India operations has gained significant momentum. The company has signed 25 new customers in last six months, including IT services organisations in India.
