Communicate 2, a player in the contextual advertising space in India, has now become a certified Google Analytics Authorised Consultant (GAAC). Google Analytics is an effective analytics tool that can enable businesses to make informed decisions about their online marketing. Communicate 2 advocates its use for marketers to understand how visitors use their websites, how they are performing and how well their marketing and advertising efforts are generating results. Communicate 2 will train its team of over 160 professionals on the analytics tool to further its services in this area.
According to FICCI, Internet advertising spend is growing at a CAGR of 39 percent and will cross Rs 2,000 crore by 2009. It is gradually taking over all other forms of advertising wherein there has been a shift from traditional media to search engine marketing. As the demand is increasing for this channel, it needs to provide better quantifiable results.
“All advertising mediums shall become dynamically priced as well as contextual – the backbone of both these characteristics is going to be measurement and analytics. We have worked for the last six months to build an Analytics Division in Communicate 2.
