CMC has successfully deployed its software applications for the shipping industry to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g. CMC’s applications, Cargo Logistics Management System (CALM) and Warehouse Management System (WARM), are now available on Oracle WebLogic Server 11g. These applications can be concurrently used by over 200 internal and external port users like gate operators, RDT operators, shipping agents, forwarders and users from invoice/documentation/storage/EIS department.

The Oracle-based CALM computerises the port’s operations and integrates core functions of the cargo terminal. It helps a port in effect! ive and accurate capture of vessel, fate, storage area and rail operations. CALM also aids in warehouse management and resource management.
WARM streamlines container freight station operations by capturing and processing data related to gate in/out of containers or cargo, stuffing/de-stuffing of containers and invoice generation.
The availability, efficiency and performance delivered by Oracle WebLogic Server 11g enabled CALM and WARM software applications to deliver enhanced reliability as well as quick and low cost scalability features.
