Clinical Solutions, Apollo Hospitals Team To Deliver Health Helpline

Clinical Solutions and Apollo Hospitals Group have announced that they are partnering to offer a health advice call centre and triage service in India, incorporating IntefleCS telephone triage software.

The service (Health4UDirect), which was officially launched last month in Karnataka, will deliver around-the-clock access to healthcare and advice.

Dr Prathap C Reddy, chairman of Apollo Hospitals Group, said, “This initiative connects the community with medical professionals 24 x 7 through a toll free telephone number. Any individual in the community can call on the Health Helpline and seek medical information and advice and we believe that this initiative will contribute significantly in improving the healthcare indices in India.”

Richard Craven, director at Clinical Solutions, adds, “In addition to providing the community with reliable, safe and easily accessible healthcare advice; the launch of Health4UDirect will also equal a reduction in waiting times at traditional Apollo clinics – creating an improved patient experience and providing Apollo with a unique offering in the market place.”

The service, which will also be extended to include integrated Internet-based healthcare services, will initially be offered to Apollo’s own patients before being rolled out to various state governments, consumers, insurers and other healthcare providers.
