Capgemini has announced the launch of Calorie, its global hub of innovation for Energy, Utilities and Chemicals (EUC) in Navi Mumbai, India.
Capgemini India has become the global hub of innovation for the group and will have 20 hubs of innovation across industry verticals and solution areas in India by December 2010.
Calorie will leverage Capgemini’s global leadership in providing solutions to utilities worldwide. The Energy, Utilities and Chemicals business contributes to over 13% (Euro 1.2 billion) of revenues of the group. It employs more than 12,000 professionals globally in the sector out of which 500 are specialised in Smart Energy Services.
Smart Energy Services, a focus area to drive global and showcase more advanced solutions, which give a clear view of how smart and green technologies can revolutionise the energy sector and also generate good ROI.
