Cable&Wireless has earned the BS 25999 accreditation for business continuity. The BS 25999 standard, introduced in 2007, establishes the processes, principles and terminology of business continuity management (BCM). The standard focuses on broad business continuity goals and is applicable to organisations of any size, globally.

ISO 27001 is the globally recognised standard for information security management systems.
