CA Technologies has announced that it has been named a leader in sustainability management software by independent analyst firm Verdantix.
The Verdantix report, “Green Quadrant Sustainability Management Software,” provides a detailed comparison of sustainability management software solutions. The report gave the company leading scores in a number of categories including strong strategic positioning, robust data input and data management functionality, and compelling tools for project management, supply chain and employee engagement.
“CA Technologies continues to establish itself as a leader in software that helps organisations manage the many facets of sustainability,” said David Metcalfe, CEO of Verdantix. “The company has a strong strategic vision and delivers excellent functional capabilities.”
The report says that when selecting an application, buyers should focus on the fit between the software functionality and their sustainability requirements and evidence of successful implementation in comparable firms.
In particular, it said other suppliers “could learn from the functionality developed by CA Technologies on sustainable supply chain management” and said CA Technologies scored “best-in-class” for project and portfolio management capabilities.
“Verdantix’s rating validates the work we have done to understand and address the growing challenges our customers face regarding the fulfillment of their sustainability objectives,” said Terrence Clark, general manager, DCIM, Energy and Sustainability Solutions, CA Technologies. “Solutions such as CA ecoSoftware empower customers to achieve these objectives through better understanding environmental impacts, improving organisational efficiency, and enabling more effective communication with stakeholders.”
