In conjunction with Microsoft’s Windows Essential Server Solutions announcement, CA has announced the immediate availability of CA ARCserve Backup for Windows Essential Business Server (EBS) 2008. Integrated with the EBS centralised administration console, CA ARCserve Backup offers Microsoft customers an easy to use and affordable solution to manage exponential data growth across their organisation, while helping to fulfill business continuity, disaster recovery and regulatory requirements.

CA ARCserve Backup for EBS is a solution specifically designed to meet the data protection requirements of a standardized, multi-server computing environment and to help customers reduce backup windows and data recovery times. It combines data protection for Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server along with disaster recovery capabilities. CA ARCserve Backup for EBS also provides integration with the Windows EBS Administration Console.
