Solix Technologies will launch Enterprise Data Management Suite (EDMS)“its fourth generation compliance and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solution"to help companies classify, manage and secure enterprise data for information governance, tiered storage strategies and application data consolidation.
Solix EDMS will enable organisations to manage compliance and ILM from a single platform, providing them with tools to reduce risk, cut down on storage costs, implement consistent security policies, audit data and retire legacy applications.
Solix Enterprise Metadata Manager would be at the centre of the EDMS, to manage multiple application and data types across all hardware platforms. Solix EMDS would provide a drag and drop tool to configure metadata for custom applications.
According to Sai Gundavelli, chief executive officer, Solix Technologies, “Too often the ability to meet compliance requirements, information governance and federal regulations places unnecessary burden on corporate IT professionals. Identifying and locating electronic information does not need to be like trying to find a needle in a haystack - provided that you used the right tool for the job.”
