SecureSynergy Ties Up With Safend

Mumbai based SecureSynergy, the provider of enterprise security consulting and managed security services has tied up with endpoint security solutions provider Safend, and incorporated some of Safend’s offerings into its own product portfolio.

Making the announcement, Anil Menon, CEO, SecureSynergy, said, “Security breaches resulting from the mismanagement of portable communications devices such as laptops and smartphones continue to make headlines, resulting in increased demand for comprehensive solutions to protect enterprise data. Safend’s products answer this need and their dedication to the channel makes this partnership a perfect fit. We intend to set up a strong channel organization to facilitate Safend’s technology adoption across Indian enterprises.”

Among some of Safend’s offerings is Safend Protector, which is said to secure enterprise endpoints from data leakage and penetration through physical and wireless ports including USB, FireWire, WiFi, Bluetooth, Infrared (IrDA), and CD/DVDs. It also features data encryption and anti-network bridging capabilities and protects from hardware keylogging devices.

Protector’s companion product, Safend Auditor is designed to monitor and document devices that are or have been connected to network endpoints and offer visibility and control of endpoint vulnerabilities.
