(ISC)2 Unveils First Office In India

(ISC)² (“ISC-squared”), the information security professional body and administrator of the CISSP, CSSLP, and CCFP, has announced the opening of a new office in Mumbai, India. The office recently opened its doors and is part of a larger initiative to develop and grow (ISC)²’s global presence and to provide localised resources and support for its 1,600+ members in India.

“We’re very excited to announce the opening of our new Mumbai office,” said W. Hord Tipton, CISSP, executive director, (ISC)². “With this important expansion, (ISC)2 is reaffirming its commitment to and support of membership growth overseas. In this new office, our personnel are dedicated to core parts of our business: member services and market development. I look forward to the subsequent support and growth throughout India that will result from this new venture.”

Expanding (ISC)²’s offerings and support in India will significantly increase the availability of all certifications to a highly qualified base of security professionals. The need for qualified security professionals has never been greater. (ISC)²’s focus on expansion in Mumbai will help Indian and multi-national companies to meet this rapidly-growing demand.
