F-Secure Mobile Security 6 Offers Browsing Protection, Locator Feature

F-Secure has announced the availability of F-Secure Mobile Security 6, a new version of its smartphone security solution. F-Secure Mobile Security 6 provides complete smartphone security, safeguarding personal and confidential data in the event the phone is lost, stolen, infected by mobile malware or even spied on.

The new version introduces innovative features including Browsing Protection, F-Secure’s first mobile in-the-cloud feature. Browsing Protection identifies which websites are safe to enter and which should be avoided. Harmful sites designed to spread malware or to steal your online identity, such as banking details, are automatically blocked to ensure a safe Web experience.

F-Secure Mobile Security 6 introduces the Premium Anti-theft with Locator feature, which makes it possible to locate the phone (or a person holding the phone) on a map. With Anti-theft you can also lock or erase confidential data remotely and get informed who stole your phone via SMS. These features also make sure that sensitive information does not fall in the wrong hands.

F-Secure Mobile Security 6 also protects smartphones against all types of malicious software. The anti-virus, firewall and anti-spyware features included in the solution protect against mobile viruses, spying tools, worms and trojans.
