ZyXEL Launches P320W 802.11 g Wireless Router

ZyXEL Communications has rolled out ZyXEL P320W 802.11 g wireless firewall router for broadband sharing. This firewall router comes with 4 port switch for sharing Internet access and the built-in IEEE 802.11g Access Point allows to connect wireless devices to the network.

With NAT and SPI firewall, the P-320W claims to provide double protection for home computers surfing the Internet, and comes along with one detachable antenna.

“Security features are important to prevent unauthorised or unknown users from sharing the Internet connection and also to protect personal or private information on the network. Our One-Touch Intelligent Security Technology (OTIST) automatically establishes a wireless connection and sets up the highest level of security available between the P-320W and any ZyXEL OTIST enabled wireless clients,” explained Mahendra Lalwani, managing director, ZyXEL Technology India.

According to the release, ZyXEL P320W provides advanced wireless security transmission with WEP Encryption with WPA /WPA2 support. Other features of P-320W include: Denial of Service (DoS) protection and intrusion detection using stateful packet inspection (SPI); and it also allows VPN pass-through to provide a safe access to Internet.
