Wipro, Continuous Computing Partner For Wireless Solutions For LTE Network

Wipro Technologies, the global Consulting, System Integration and Outsourcing business of Wipro Limited, and Continuous Computing, the global provider of integrated platform solutions that address the mobile broadband capacity challenge, have announced that the two companies are working together to provide carrier-class Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and Femtocell products for network equipment providers supplying 3G wireless and Long Term Evolution (LTE) network infrastructure.

By using DPI to “offload” traffic from the core mobile network onto the public Internet and deploying Femtocell indoor base stations in residential and high density user areas, mobile service providers can aggressively lower the cost per bit and free up capital and operational expenditure from core networks.
