Extreme Networks is extending the power of network insight and control to a new set of enterprise solutions. These products and services include a new line of Summit X150 value-priced edge switches, a framework for automating labour-intensive network tasks with pre-built software modules that address the entire network lifecycle and a new professional services.
Extreme Networks is extending Summit products line with the new Summit X150 Series fixed configuration switches in 24 and 48 port models with available power over Ethernet (PoE). With deployment automation provided under the Extreme Networks automation framework, the Summit X150 switches can be set up rapidly. The automation framework leverages the modular ExtremeXOS operating system and the EPICenter management platform.
