Array Networks Inc., the application, desktop and cloud service delivery company, announced that Reliance Life Insurance, an associate company of Reliance Capital Ltd., selected Array Networks’ NetVelocity link load balancing to increase application availability for its users and employees. Leveraging existing WAN infrastructure, Array maximised server uptime for Reliance with web compression, fast switching and automated failover - optimising the flow of real-time information to support business operations.
Array’s NetVelocity link load balancing solution now provides application multi-homing, high availability, load balancing and ISP failover for Reliance’s business-critical applications. As a result, Reliance benefits from fast switching and enhanced application throughput, including web compression for applications. In case of a link failure, Array delivers automated failover within thirty seconds. These capabilities, along with link health status reporting and utilisation statistics, provide Reliance Insurance a complete link load balancing solution.
“We had a need for fast switching and enhanced application throughput with asymmetric compression for our web applications,” said Balram Chaudhary, IT Manager at Reliance Life Insurance. “We wanted automated recovery within 30 seconds in case of a link failure, along with visibility into the status of link health and utilisation. Array’s NetVelocity link load balancing product delivered these capabilities according to our requirements. The most important benefit has been the significant boost in uptime and availability of the services and applications that our users and business teams need to keep our operations running smoothly.”
“For financial services organisations such as Reliance Life Insurance, keeping operations running smoothly is critical to maintaining a competitive edge,” said Sunil Cherian, Vice President of Product Marketing for Array Networks. “Reliance selected Array because we provide the best value in the areas of reliability, availability, and scalability. This enabled them to efficiently build a resilient and scalable application delivery infrastructure while ensuring security.”
