Linksys, a division of Cisco Systems has launched its first wireless broadband router customised for Indian home users – Wireless-G Home Router (WRH54G).
The WRH54G comes with a dual-antenna design for supporting better wireless performance and it is equipped with customised and black complexion design. This integrated wireless-G broadband router is designed to help address the practical needs of the local users.
WRH54G features on- demand and time-based access control for better management of internet access, a wireless radio control built in with on/off control scheduler to support multiple scheduling, a build-in web based setup wizard which helps users to setup the WRH54G easily.
According to Sanjeev Gupta, regional sales director, Asia Pacific at Linksys, “WRH54G is designed for Indian users, who want flexibility and a cost-effective way to adopt wireless broadband. It will help accelerate the deployment of wireless broadband network in India while further strengthening Linksys’ leadership in the Indian market.”
As an integrated wireless broadband network solution for consumers, the WRH54G is a Wireless Access Point, designed to interface with standard Wireless-G (802.11g) and Wireless-B ( 802.11b) equipments. It supports 128-bit industrial-strength encryption to help protect data and privacy.
