The structured products launch includes Network storage, Stackable switches, smart switches, wireless router, line of Linksys one ready switches and network attached storage, one services router, wireless services router, software enhancements and Cisco service node for Linksys one XA series.
According to Sanjeev Gupta, regional sales director, APAC, Linksys, “The major challenge to reach the customers would be to get hold of the VARs who are spread out and in multiple tiers. The VARs also have their own businesses. Training them about product range and the way to differentiate it from the peers will also b a major challenge. The thin availability of Internet is also a major hindrance”.
Along the lines, Linksys also announced the Linksys Partner Connection (LPC) programme that will provide channel partners with products, incentives and programmes targeted at the SMBs. Additionally, Linksys and Cisco also revealed that they would align partner programmes and initiatives to drive growth and increase efficiencies for channel partners in the SMB market.
