Fluke Networks has released PfR Manager, a wide-area network (WAN) route optimisation solution using new Performance Routing (PfR) technology from Cisco Systems.
According to Alamuri Sitaramaiah, director, sales and marketing, Fluke Networks, India, “With the help of Fluke Networks’ new PfR Manager, enterprise network managers can make optimum use of WAN links and lower the total cost of ownership of the IT infrastructure, all while maximising performance.”
“Cisco PfR technology coupled with Fluke Networks PfR Manager is a network innovation that will help our customers maximise the performance, availability and resiliency of their wide-area network. Organisations will then be able to intelligently optimise network routes by matching network conditions to application needs,” said Inbar Lasser-Raab, director, Network Systems, Cisco.
PfR Manager claims to offers several benefits such as reduced network operating costs through the configuration for full utilisation of all WAN links, improved network performance and response times through optimal configuration and monitoring of dynamic application-based routing and continuous performance measurement, and simplified reports to enable baseline measurements.
