New report from leading industry analyst firm positions Sybase iAnywhere as a worldwide mobile middleware market leader
In a recent report, IDC recognized Sybase iAnywhere as a worldwide leading provider of mobile middleware. The report, Worldwide Mobile Middleware 2006-2010 Forecast and 2005 Vendor Shares measured iAnywhere’s higher revenues and market share-results that placed the company ahead of its competitors.
“Our strength in the mobile middleware market ideally positions us to help organizations unwire their enterprises and get the right information to the right people at the right time and place,” said Terry Stepien, president of Sybase iAnywhere.
“Savvy companies that offer mobile e-mail along with messaging, security, device management and applications as part of a strategic mobile implementation are in a strong position for continued growth,” said Stephen Drake, IDC program director, Mobile Enterprise programs.
The worldwide market for mobile middleware software will grow from $645.1 million in 2005 to $1.5 billion in 2010 at a CAGR of 17.7%.
