Buffalo Launches Giga Wireless-N Router, Access Point

Networking solutions provider, Buffalo Technology, has announced the launch of its AirStation high power Giga wireless-N router and access point model WZR-HP-G450H in India.

The wireless LAN router features three 5dBi antennas and comes with Buffalo’s firmware. The router is equipped with a USB port that can connect a USB hard drive and one can use it as a NAS for sharing data.

The LAN router and access point support the 802.11n standard for rapid data transfers of up to 450 Mbps.

It supports AOSS for Android, is equipped with WPA2, WPA-PSK (TKIP, AES), and WEP (128/64bit) wireless security support and allows up to four simultaneous Gigabit wired connections.

According to Susumu Kobayashi, Country Head, Buffalo India, “The need for high performance wireless internet is growing stronger, thanks to the explosion of video streaming, file sharing, gaming, and downloading of large files. Buffalo recognises this demand and the AirStation range offers efficient, high performance, affordable wireless solutions for the home and office."

Buffalo wireless solutions are all backed by a limited two-year warranty. The AirStation High Power Giga (WZR-HP-G450H) wireless router will be available immediately with Buffalo Brand Stores and authorised retailed outlets at an estimated SRP of Rs. 8000.
