IT veteran Arun Gupta has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of global IT Services company, Initto India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Copenhagen based Initto A/S.
Initto counts several European companies among its customers, including a leading bank from Denmark, and has offshore development centres in the New Delhi’s National Capital Region and Ukraine.
Announcing Arun Gupta’s appointment, Initto A/S Global CEO Rene Just said, “We have chalked out an aggressive growth plan for Initto to leverage our strengths in financial services and to capitalise on the opportunities in Europe and India. I am very pleased to have a leader like Arun on board, to help us drive our growth.”
Gupta, who has over two decades of experience with IT multinationals, served as Director at CSC India before taking up this assignment.
His experience spans diverse technologies and domains, having worked with companies such as TCS, NIIT Technologies and Syntel in the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific.
“My goal is to rapidly scale our world class talent pool and domain capability and help Initto achieve its mission of being the IT provider of choice to its marquee customers,” said Gupta.
