Delhi and NCR-based Ace Data Devices Pvt. Ltd (Ace Data) has entered into an agreement with Indraprastha Medical Corporation Limited (Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals) for providing Backup Vault solution for server host applications and database backup. Backup Vault from Ace Data is a next generation, cloud based backup and recovery solution for Indian businesses.
According to the business agreement, Ace Data will be providing Apollo Hospitals with backup services and solutions for MS SQL, MS Exchange, Oracle and other critical data. With the new service, the requirement of manual intervention while taking the backup of critical data will cease to exist.
“Initially we started with the SQL database backup project with the Apollo Hospitals. Based on the experience and the visible benefits of our solution, the scope of the agreement has already been scaled up to include MS Exchange 2010 data base spread over multiple information stores,” said Neeraj Mediratta, Chief Executive Officer, Ace Data Devices Pvt. Ltd. The SQL database of the Apollo Hospitals has very critical patient and pharmacy data which now gets automatically gets backed up every six hours.
