Commenting on Adobe India’s growth strategy for 2012 and Bawa’s appointment, Umang Bedi, Managing Director, South Asia said, “We see two distinct phenomena driving our growth in 2012 and beyond. One is the rise of India’s creative economy and two, the evolution of Indian enterprises to become true Digital Enterprises. And for both these phenomena, Adobe is uniquely positioned to help its clients not only create compelling digital content and experiences, but also manage and monetise those content and experiences.”

“We are gearing our structure towards bringing the right mix of our digital media and digital marketing solutions to clients with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of businesses in these sectors. We are delighted to have a proven leader like Bawa join Adobe to bring his expertise to our customers in the enterprise segment,” he added.

To capitalise on large opportunities across the country, Adobe has announced geographical expansion by appointing regional territory managers in cities including Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. The company is also revamping its current channel partner program and will be rolling out its third generation program called Adobe Partner Connection (APC) in the month of March. The new program is expected to help Adobe and its channel partners increase the reach of its products across the country and help partners capitalise on the tremendous opportunity in the Indian Market.
