Aditya Birla Financial Services Group Selects Teradata

Aditya Birla Financial Services Group (ABFSG) has selected the Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance from Teradata Corporation to fuel its business intelligence (BI) and customer relationship management (CRM) initiative. Teradata is a vendor focused on data warehousing and enterprise analytics.

The BI and CRM initiative will provide valuable insights for all sales, marketing and customer service-related business units within the Financial Services Group - Birla Sun Life Insurance Company, Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company and Birla Sun Life Distribution Company.

ABFSG selected Teradata for the Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance with its ability to start small and grow according to its future requirements. The goal for this new initiative is to gain a better understanding of customers across the financial services businesses in order to provide better, relevant and timely service to its customer base.

By selecting Teradata, ABFSG is expected to gain efficiencies in productivity and deployment. ABFSG customers, in return, will receive improved, relevant and timely services from the company.
