activePDF, a server-based PDF creation, conversion and development tools provider for Microsoft Windows, has announced the release of activePDF Toolkit 2011, which enables dynamic generation and manipulation of PDF files.
In addition to offering full native support for 64-bit applications, this new version introduces a fully managed .NET API and support for AES-128 encryption. Additional feature enhancements, such as support for transparent text and images and the inclusion of over 80 additional barcode symbologies, along with a variety of performance improvements are also included.
“We’re thrilled to announce this much-anticipated launch of activePDF Toolkit, the first of several new and exciting product releases slated for 2011,” said Tim Sullivan, CEO, activePDF. “With this release, we’ve really focused our efforts on attaining the highest level of performance possible, while offering our clients additional flexibility in meeting two areas where standards-based compliance are of critical importance: encryption and barcodes. We’ve invested quite a bit of engineering effort into this release, and we’re extremely pleased with the feedback we’ve received thus far.”
