ABN AMRO Bank Partners With PayMate To Enable Mobile Payments

ABN AMRO India, an international bank with European roots, has allied with mobile commerce company PayMate, to enable mobile banking facilities for its customers. This alliance will allow all ABN AMRO India clients to experience ’easy-convenient-secure’ mode of making utility and online bill payments via mobile phones through a simple SMS.

Commenting on this launch, Puneet Bahl, head of consumer banking at ABN AMRO Bank, India, says, “Mobile technology not only offers a wide range of features, but also provides convenience to users. M-commerce is taking off in India in a big way, and PayMate is one of the forerunners of this technology.
