Twitter is filled with angry fans of HBO’s popular television series Game of Thrones, which is based on George RR Martins seven part novel series A Song of Ice and Fire. Fans who had not read the series and watched the latest episode of Season Three The Rains of Castamere were in for a shock. And from the reactions on Twitter, it looks like there were a lot of those. Yes the infamous Red Wedding takes place in this episode, and without giving too much away, a lot of people die. So stunned, anguished, and furious fans are lamenting George RR Martin’s ’treachery’. In fact Game of Thrones continues to trend on both Twitter and Google Plus. Fans also took to complaining on the Facebook page of the series. Image from Facebook.[/caption] In fact Twitter now has a dedicated account called @RedWeddingTears with fans screaming out curses on George RR Martin and HBO. Some fans spoke about how they cried, after watching the episode. If you are a fan and haven’t seen the latest episode, we suggest you avoid the Internet till you get your hands on it. And yes when you do get watch the episode, buckle up and get a stomach of steel. There’s a wedding here which will leave you crying but for all the wrong reasons.
