French tyremaker Michelin has set up a new retail outlet at Gurgaon. The Michelin Tyreplus showroom, located at DLF Phase 3, Cybercity, near the Sikanderpur Metro Station, will not only showcase the full range of tyres from Michelin but other brands too.
Apart from tyres and associated accessories, the store will cater to tyre-related services like tyre repairs, wheel balancing and wheel alignment. Michelin also plans to make the Tyreplus store a reliable one-stop solution for other operations like oil and battery changes, brake inspection and replacement and a host of minor mechanical repairs.
The store, spread over 1,800 square-feet, will thus also serve as a workshop and will be manned by 15 technically trained staff members. Mohan Kumar, commercial director, Michelin India said, “We are delighted to inaugurate this brand new Tyreplus outlet in Gurgaon. Tyreplus offers the best of Michelin purchasing experience.The opening of this outlet in NCR is in line with our strategy to expand and redefine the purchasing experience of Indian consumers.”
The Tyreplus chain of stores were first established by Michelin in 2002 and are currently present in 22 countries, including Australia, UAE, China and Brazil.
