Drinking and driving: Why you shouldn't

Driving a vehicle requires undivided attention. A person’s span of attention is directly proportional to his/her ability to concentrate. It’s a fact that road conditions are unpredictable and the fine line between crash and no-crash, every time you drive, seems to be diminishing even more. So what happens if you add alcohol to the mix? What happens to your ability to concentrate and drive?

Alcohol suppresses the central nervous system and the short term effects depend on the blood alcohol level. They range from mild mood changes to complete loss of coordination, vision and balance. The latter can have devastating effects.
