Jaguar Land Rover will launch the facelifted Range Rover Evoque SUV in India on November 19, 2015. It was initially showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and the upgrade gives the SUV an updated exterior and interiors along with new engines. The new front end gets a new grille, a new bumper with large air dams and bonnet scoops on the five-door HSE Dynamic and Autobiography variants. The tail end of the car gets a new spoiler, roof fins and a 3G antenna. The updated interior gets an 8-inch infotainment unit with an Incontrol Touch system that allows users to swipe between screens like in a smartphone.

The company’s new all-aluminium Ingenium TD4 diesel engine will be used in the 2016 Range Rover Evoque, and will be available in two states of tune " 150PS and 180PS. The petrol variant will use a 240PS Si4 unit that gives the car a claimed 0-100kmph time of 7.6 seconds. Other features on the 2016 Range Rover Evoque are the All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) seen in the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, Lane Keeping Assist, Attention Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking. Range Rover started recently assembling the Evoque in India and it is expected that the 2016 range will also be made at the company’s Chakan facility.
