Automobile manufacturers seem to be creating quite a hype around the debut of their cars at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. They’re releasing renderings, teasers and what not. Mercedes-Benz are no exception as they give a sneak-peek of the upcoming S-Class Cabriolet that will premiere at the show. Mercedes-Benz have revived the open-top variant of the S-Class after 44 years, with the last model of the convertible S-Class sold back in 1971.
The new-cabriolet will get wind protection features such as Aircap, the Airscarf neck-level heating system along with heated armrests and seat heating.
“After 44 years we can again offer friends of our company an open variant of the S-Class. The new S-Class Cabriolet symbolises our passion for individual and timelessly exclusive mobility, which we share with our customers,” says Ola Källenius, board member of Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz Cars Sales.
