Xiaomi , having recently launched the
**Mi A1** , has added another variant to its
Redmi Note 5A . The company launched the new smartphone in two variants

Reuters[/caption] While Xiaomi is yet to officially state when it is planning to launch the Redmi Note 5A in India, it has launched a higher end variant of the device in China. 435 SoC with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. It is priced at CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 12,000). The base variant of the Redmi Note 5A sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset along with 2 GB of RAM is priced at CNY 699 (approximately Rs 7,000). The phone also comes in another variant — with Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 and 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. [caption id=“attachment_4054225” align=“alignnone” width=“825”]

In terms of the camera specifications, we get a 13 MP f/2.2 sensor which comes with a PDAF focussing system. The front camera comes with a better 16 MP f/2.0 sensor, which would appeal to selfie enthusiasts. All variants come with dual SIM capability along with a dedicated microSD card slot.
Xiaomi is yet to officially state when it is planning to launch the Redmi Note 5A in India, a report reveals that the device should come arrive by year end.
