… says the headline of a print ad created by Equus Red Cell, a creative shop founded by Seth and his brother Swapan and now run by Swapan. No, they haven’t fallen out. Suhel Seth’s consultancy firm, Counselage, needed an advertisement created for the Jaipur Literary Festival official brochure which needed to highlight the fact that though Counselage was relatively unknown and had just a handful of clients, the smallness (and the quality) of the client list was a selling proposition. [caption id=“attachment_198877” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“The ad could do wonders for Conselage. Bestmediainfo”] [/caption] By implication, Suhel, who runs Counselage, would be able to devote time and attention to the entire roster of clients, as opposed to consultancies which had a longer list — with their attention spread over more clients. Whether this ad (Seth has been reported as saying that, encouraged by the reaction, he would use this ad as a campaign idea for Counselage) gets him new clients and enquiries, is not easy to answer. But the ad could do wonders for Swapan. It’ll at least make the shortlists for the print category in awards shows. Swapan has a very big one. Big idea, that is.
