The International World Yoga Day was observed on Sunday and how! Thousands of people turned up across the world to participate, Guinness World Records were created and awkward pictures taken. But everybody had their eyes on one man, (yes… you guessed it) the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The man who pushed so hard for the event, that it became generally accepted that if you don’t perform Yoga, you might as well give up on a happy and healthy life for forever. And Yoga he did. On 21 June, PM Modi led thousands of people on Janpath, and here are his best moments. [caption id=“attachment_2305894” align=“alignleft” width=“825”] The prime minister started subtle with some basic moves. PTI[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_2305890” align=“alignleft” width=“825”] The Prime Minster soon upped his game. PTI[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_2305902” align=“alignleft” width=“825”] He even managed to make rounds around the venue inspecting some very confused kids. PTI[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_2305896” align=“alignleft” width=“825”] And like a true Prime Minister, he showed the kids how its done. PTI[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_2305888” align=“alignleft” width=“825”] He couldn’t touch his feet, but none the less managed to get an awesome photo. PTI[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_2305886” align=“alignleft” width=“825”] And finally, it was time for some rest.
