IBNLive[/caption] “Now, Goa has been accorded a permanent venue status, so they are permanent hosts. They are making huge infrastructure for the festival. Therefore, from this year they will start and hopefully by next year it will be a new infrastructure where the festival will take place,” he said. Javadekar and Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had a meeting in this regard on Tuesday. “So we discussed (about) that and this year’s event will also be a grand thing,” he said while speaking at the sidelines of an event to launch a book by Rajya Sabha secretariat Additional Secretary Vandana Garg. The 45th edition of IFFI will be held from 20 to 30 November, 2014 in Goa, sources said. Javadekar also tweeted about his meeting with Parrikar. “We have decided Goa the permanent venue for #IFFI. CM @manoharparrikar planned World Class Infrastructure for the festival at Goa,” he tweeted. “Had good discussion with @manoharparrikar for organising International Film Festival of India,” he said in another tweet.
