A group of people, who hit the boys, was carrying lathis…,” reported ToI. According to a Hindustan Times report, a group of youths created a disturbance in the area after being stopped by traffic police. “Young men from a particular community were stopped by traffic policemen, for travelling on the wrong side of the road on Sunday evening,” reported the Hindustan Times.
