The residence of an employee of the Vectra group and two former Indian Army officials were searched. Earlier, Natarajan had appeared before the CBI, as the agency had asked him for clarifications pertaining to procurement and supply of Tatra all-terrain trucks to the Army. However, BEML which supplies Tatra trucks to the Indian army, has denied that its Chief Managing Director V Natarajan’s position has been compromised, following a CID report that opined that he was liable for cheating and guilty of a criminal breach of trust and falsification of accounts. The CBI has earlier questioned Vectra chairman Ravi Rishi in connection with the case.
