Days after the Bulandshahr rape case horror in Uttar Pradesh, a 19-year-old teacher, while on her way to school, was kidnapped, driven to an isolated location and gang raped by three men in Bareilly on Tuesday, as reported by CNN News18.
The perpetrators forced the survivor into a van, and then drove to a sugarcane field along a state highway linking Delhi-Lucknow National Highway 24, where the crime was committed. The entire incident was filmed on camera, as reported by The Indian Express .
As per the report, the criminals fled from the crime scene leaving the victim in the field.
Following the incident, the inspector of CB Ganj police station Rajesh Singh was suspended by IG Vijay Singh Meena, as reported by CNN News18.
According to the news channel, Samajwadi Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia issued a statement saying that the matter had been raised and that it will be rectified.
The survivor, informed her family and later lodged an FIR. She alleged that the culprits had taken a video of the incident and threatened to make it public on social media, if she approached the police, as reported by The Deccan Herald
This incident comes four days after the Bulandshahr incident , where a woman and her daughter, were gang raped at gunpoint by a group of dacoits, on a National highway in Uttar Pradesh.
