Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt debuted together in Karan Johar's Student of the Year and are the two of the most promising actor's of their generation. After their latest collaboration, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, proved to be a major success at the box-office, the duo might be seen together in a film tentatively titled Shiddat.
The film will reportedly have an ensemble cast and it is being said that Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt will have significant roles to play in the film. Dutt has shown interest in the script and might get on board soon.
The makers are also considering roping in Sonakshi Sinha and Sridevi. If it all works out in, the film will will have a stellar, six-member cast to boast of. The film will be directed by Abhishek Verman, who had has worked with Bhatt in 2 States, in the past.
Shiddat will also be Dhawan and Bhatt's fourth collaboration. The former is currently wrapping up Judwaa 2 with Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Bhatt will soon begin shooting for Meghna Gulzar's Raazi, a film based on Harinder S. Sikka's book, Calling Sehmat. Raazi will be Bhatt's first film opposite Vicky Kaushal, who has worked in films like Masaan and Raman Raghav 2.0.
