Israel has agreed to grant Syrian forces restricted access to the Sweida area of southern Syria for the next two days, an Israeli official said on Friday, following days of violence in and around Syria’s Druze city of Sweida.
According to Syria’s official news agency, the interior ministry spokeswoman claimed on Friday that government forces were not prepared to redeploy to Sweida Province.
