WATCH When panic struck inside JAL plane without warning at Haneda airport

Panic, tension and fear gripped among all 379 people onboard Japan Airlines flight 516 that collided with a Japan coast guard jet at Tokyo’s Haneda airport and burst into flames on Tuesday. The airline said all 367 passengers and 12 crew members on its plane were safely evacuated, while five crew members on the Coast Guard plane were killed and the pilot is said to be in critical condition. Inside video of JAL plane The video, apparently shot by one of the passengers of JAL flight, shared by BNO News on social media platform X, showed the aircraft caught fire while on runway. Also, smoke was seen increasing as the fire began to spread. Soon after the video shows passengers with their face masks on trying to evacuate with some shouting in fear.

As soon as the plane came to a standstill, people rushed to use emergency slides and flee the inferno as firefighters tried to douse the rapidly spreading flames.
