Everyone goes through a bad at work every once in a while. Perhaps the best thing to do is to keep one’s head down and let it pass. Surely, nothing good can come of by venting out frustration at work. [caption id=“attachment_1608131” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Starbucks. Reuters Starbucks. Reuters[/caption] Not this lady here. A customer caught this video on his mobile phone at a Starbucks branch in Queens, New York. The video shows a worker screaming at a customer, Ruby Chen, and asking her to leave. In the video description, Chen writes that she ordered a Frappuccino and a “special” (cookie) straw, and tried to pay with her Starbucks app on May 12 when ‘Melissa’, the worker, suddenly flipped. She starting shouting and asked Chen to leave and never come back again. When a few customers protested, taking Chen’s side, she asked them to leave too. “Get out. You’re not going to be served here. Period. Bye! Bye! Bye!” shouts Melissa all the while other workers can be seen trying to calm her down.

In comments on her Facebook page (that have since been either removed or made private), Chen said she had been offered a $100 gift card by the company, reports the Huffington Post . “The customer’s experience is not reflective of the service our baristas provide. The employee was immediately suspended and no longer works for Starbucks. Our leadership team has reached out to the customer to make things right,” Starbucks said in a statement to PIX11 . The branch management defended the 25-year-old who had worked at Starbucks for five years. “We do our very best to hire good people with good hearts who care about our customers,” he told PIX11. “This is a good person who did a bad thing.”
