The Israeli military has been strengthening its grounds against Hamas and giving a strong fight after the Palestinian terror group began its assault in the West Asian nation on October 7. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) Thursday released footages of attack its continued attack throughout the Gaza Strip. The IDF said its warplanes, directed by Shin Bet intelligence, killed the head of the military wing of Gaza’s terror group ‘Popular Resistance Committees’ Rafat Harev Hossein Abu Halal in Rafah. The Popular Resistance Committees is the third largest terror faction in the Gaza Strip after Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).

The Israeli military further said it targeted several terrorists of Hamas’ Najaba force, who led the October 7 onslaught. They said, more than 10 Najaba force terrorists were killed in Israeli strikes. “During the fighting, a number of operatives belonging to the Najaba force of Hamas, which led to the brutal raid on the settlements surrounding Gaza, were eliminated - and more than 10 terrorists were neutralised in a targeted attack by fighter jets,” IDF said.

The IDF further said, directed by the Shin Bet, it also destroyed hundreds of Hamas terrorist infrastructures, dozens of which were attacked in the Sageya neighbourhood. “The hundreds of terrorist infrastructures that were attacked include anti-tank missile launch sites, tunnel shafts, intelligence infrastructures, operational headquarters and other headquarters,” IDF said. “At the same time, dozens of mortar rocket launching positions were attacked, most of which were destroyed immediately after they were launched towards Israel,” IDF said.
