Watch: 14-year-old solves Rubik's cube in 4.9 seconds, sets world record

Lucas Etter, a 14 year old speed-cuber, has set a new world record at a tournament in Maryland by solving the Rubik's cube in just 4.9 seconds, reports Metro.co.uk

We can see Etter solve the Rubik's cube in under five seconds in a video of the event uploaded on YouTube.

In the video, Etter solves the Rubik's cube even before the other children could grasp what happened.

As the children were heard saying in the video, three world records were made in the event Etter participated in.
