WATCH Hamas shenanigans smashed: Teen 'terrorist' freed by Israel wears false cast on hands, caught lying on camera

Hamas’ anti-Israel propaganda was left in tatters after a video was released on social media which busted the claims of one Mohammed Nazzal, 16 and from Jenin serving jail sentence on terror charges, who upon his release in the prisoner exchange with Israel was presented as an example of Israel’s brutality against Palestinians. Nazzal posed with both hands in cast, claiming that Israel guards in the Ofer prison had smashed him with hammers. The image of a teen ostensibly brutalised by Israel was brandished across a section of the international media. The teenager also claimed that he was left without any medical help for eight days, when some helped him drink and eat. While it evoked some sympathy to begin with, Nazzal’s video from just before the prisoner-hostage swap shows both his arms quite intact. While getting on a Red Cross bus that would take them for the swap, Nazzal is seen using his hands to grab the guardrails of the bus. Just before that, approaching the bus, Nazzal throwing his hands inside his pyjama pockets without a care in the world. Nazzal was arrested three months ago in Kabatiye, affiliated with Jenin in the West Bank, and placed under “administrative detention” for six months.

🧵 2/4: After his release he immediately appears in several staged propaganda videos with two casts on his arm in slings.

In the video he alleges that prison guards used hammers to break his arms and he was left in excruciating pain for 8 days with no medical attention. pic.twitter.com/otvEYhIpk1

Source: X/@OliLondonTV In most of his interviews to media, Nazzal claimed that Israeli forces constantly raided the cells and beat prisoners. He even alleged that his last month in prison felt like 20 years. In one of the media interviews, Nazzal claimed that Israeli prisoners “entered and started beating me… my hands are broken. I was in pain for a week on the floor, somebody was helping me with drinking and eating.”

Source: X/@OliLondonTV The Israel-Hamas truce came into effect on Friday and prisoner swap was one of the deals between them. As many as 50 Israelis were released in exchange for 150 Palestinian women and children released from Israeli jails. The releases took place in four batches during four days of a humanitarian pause, which was extended late Monday for two additional days. Following the 7 October attack by Hamas, Israel launched a massive military campaign in the Gaza Strip. According to the health authorities in Gaza, since the conflict began, more than 15,000 Palestinians, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, were killed. The official death toll in Israel stands at 1,200.
