Tuesday was a dark day for Pakistan when 141 people were killed as insurgents stormed an army-run school in the northwestern city of Peshawar and systematically went from room to room, shooting children during an eight-hour killing spree. A day after the attack, BBC released a video showing the first footage inside the army public school premises where the incident took place. BBC correspondent Mishal Husain was the first journalist to be allowed inside the school after the incident. She also posted photos from inside the school where the tragedy took place.

“The principal died in this room,” said General Asim Bajwa from the Pakistan army, who accompanied Husain as she went inside the school. “There were a lot of people who were rescued from here.”
