A father’s love for his daughter transcended all dangers after he jumped into the ocean to save his child after she fell from the fourth deck of a Disney cruise ship, which was on its way back to South Florida from the Bahamas.
Videos of the acts of bravery have gone viral on social media, showing passengers of the cruise cheering for the father-daughter duo after they were pulled out of the raging ocean waters onto a rescue boat. The incident happened on June 29 (Sunday).

The ship was heading back to South Florida when the intense rescue was made.

Witnesses said the girl appeared to fall after her father took her photo near a railing. A man overboard alert was issued on the ship, and crew members quickly responded in an effort to rescue them.
“The ship was moving quickly, so quickly, it’s crazy how quickly the people became tiny dots in the sea, and then you lost sight of them,” a passenger named Laura Amador said, according to CBS News.

A Disney Cruise Line spokesperson said, “The Crew aboard the Disney Dream swiftly rescued two guests from the water. We commend our Crew Members for their exceptional skills and prompt actions, which ensured the safe return of both guests to the ship within minutes.”
