Patti Smith accepted the award on his behalf, and read out a beautiful acceptance speech penned by Bob Dylan. Now, he is performing at Stockholm this weekend. And he will physically accept the award from the Nobel Prize academy. Professor Sara Danius, permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy said, “The Swedish Academy is very much looking forward to the weekend and will show up at one of the performances.
